Domain Scout AI is a Windows application that helps users discover and evaluate domain-name candidates. This policy explains what information the application and website process.
Domain searches
Search terms and requested domain names may be sent to public DNS services, authoritative domain-registration data services, or registrars to retrieve registration information. These services receive technical request data such as an IP address as part of normal internet communication.
Information we collect
The current website does not require an account and does not intentionally collect names, payment details, or domain-registration contact data. If optional analytics or crash reporting is introduced, this policy will be updated before that functionality is enabled.
Affiliate links
Links to registrars may contain affiliate identifiers. When followed, the registrar or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute a qualifying purchase. Their data practices are controlled by their own privacy policies.
External checkout
Domain registration and payment occur on the selected registrar’s website. Domain Scout AI does not receive or store payment-card information. Information entered at checkout is governed by the registrar’s policies.
Data retention and choices
The current website does not maintain a server-side database of visitors. You may avoid affiliate tracking by not following registrar links from the application. Browser privacy controls may also restrict cookies used after leaving our service.
Security and changes
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information processed. This policy may change as the product develops; the effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
